AGE / DIVISION RESTRICTIONS

Teams must register in the appropriate age bracket, which is below:

​

Divisions will consist of 55’s; 60’s; 65’s; 70’s+.

 

Depending on number of teams entering at each age bracket, it is possible some age groups may be combined where adjusted scoring could come into effect for the higher age bracket team (+5 runs) or be given a choice of having an 11th fielder.

Teams will be allowed a maximum of two (2) players who are younger than their age bracket requires. Those players must be no younger than 2 years out of their age bracket.  EXAMPLE --- a 60’s team can have two 58 year old players as long as the players are turning age 58 in this calendar year.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Canadian Slo-pitch rules to apply.

1.21 bats will be allowed in all divisions 

SPN / ASA and USSSA-approved bats.

Batter starts with the 1 strike, 1 ball count.

​

As of 2026, the Ogopogo has been designated as a SSUSA Qualifier Tournament.

All teams coming into the tournament need to registered on the SPN site and all players must sign the SPN waiver for the tournament for insurance coverage.

​

There will be a concession and beer gardens open all weekend and there will also be a Saturday 50/50 draw and a Sunday 50/50 draw.
